Dear Mother Nature,
I’ve
remembered the green grasses, tall trees, clear rivers and blue seas. I’ve
missed them all. Whenever I see them, my problems and sorrows are being relieved.
But now, what have happened to them? All I see is a dirty river and sea, cut
down trees and a lot of subdivision being built. I felt sorry for what had
happened to you. We people are the cause of your destruction. We people became
so selfish that we just often think of ourselves even if it will mean your ruin.
We are the one who are supposed to take care of you Mother Nature. We are the
one who are supposed to protect you but we always do the negative things. I’m
really really sorry. In my own simple way, I will show my love for you, my
concern for you. I will cooperate in project being implemented by the
government that will help save you. And to help lessen our problems brought
about by wrong use of nature, we have chosen to conduct an investigatory
project entitled “Katigbi Leaves( Coix lachryma)
as an effective main component of biodegradable plastic; which aims to help
find ways on how to lessen pollution. I hope to see you next time clean and
healthy.
Sincerely
yours,
Katrina Faye Cruz
